Our client, a major consumer durables producer seeks a Sales Director. Reporting to the president, the position will have responsibility for creating and maintaining the go-to-market strategy, sales, product-margin mix, promotions, and P&L, for several leading consumer brands.Key Responsibilities Include
Establishing and executing the strategic marketing partnerships with leading U.S. based retailers. Lead executive regarding the sales and growth initiatives with major retailers such as Home Depot, Best Buy, Kohl's and others. Top-tier relationship management with senior decision makers, while utilizing and directing internal company resources associated with marketing, product development, customer service and finance.
Skills, Knowledge and Abilities
Leadership, a willingness to lead, take ownership, offer direction, and manage major accounts and internal company talent.
Must possess a demonstrated track record of success leading the national sales efforts of a major brand, or product category,through the national retail channel.
Suitable candidates must have 5-10 years experience at this level, business degree, MBA highly preferred.
