Overview: Our client, a Private Equity Owned, Midwestern Component Manufacturing Company, is seeking a seasoned operating executive to fill the President role.

Position Brief

Looking for individual with dynamic leadership skills, high energy, and direct P&L experience – full responsibility for all aspects of the company: including but not limited to: strategic planning, sales and marketing, manufacturing operations, product design, development and production, setting and implementing short term and long term financial objectives, and effective utilization of all resources including human plant and facilities.

Undergraduate degree required; Engineering, Manufacturing or Operations emphasis is desired.

Masters in Engineering, MBA or other Graduate Degree or highly Specialized Training would be viewed favorably.

Peference will be given for experience in implementing and operation of Demand Flow Technology (DFT), Six Sigma quality, ISO, Just in Time, World Class Safety and Quality environments;

Looking for an individual with a 15-20 year track record who has evidence of increasing levels of leadership and managerial responsibilities.,

Demonstrated experience in a job shop, metal manufacturing environment necessary.

Prior high level sales and marketing experience/expertise, dealing with Fortune 500 Quality customer base, from a technically grounded product suite would be viewed favorably – track record of building customer relationships and successfully leading sales and marketing activities.

Vice President of Marketing

POSITION SUMMARY

International Building Products Producer

Reports to Division President

Responsible for all activities related to conceptualizing and implementing market strategy and achieving marketing targets.

Specific responsibilities include business and market development;

Market analysis and planning; strategic direction for promotion and advertising; customer satisfaction.

In collaboration with sales, R&D, product management, and operations monitor trends that indicate the need for new products and services, and oversee product development. Manage advertising and promotion groups to promote the company’s products and services and to attract potential consumers while maintaining existing clientele.

PRIMARY DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

1. Serves as Chief Marketing Officer of the business, providing support in the area of marketing strategy and management.

2. Develops the marketing plan and the strategies, tactics and resources necessary to achieve system and goals.

3. Provides leadership and/or supports the design, development, and implementation of products and service lines.

4. Oversees and provides direction to market and competitor analysis.

5. Provides leadership, direction and management of the market research function.

6. Creates an institutional and system-wide marketing reporting function that can track, measure and analyze performance.

7. Ensures all marketing communications are coordinated, support marketing plan objectives and are an effective expenditure of resources.

8. Provides input and support to the Company’s leadership in the development of joint ventures, affiliations and partnership arrangements.

10. Provides marketing skills and expertise to the business by building, developing and managing a marketing team capable of carrying out the necessary marketing strategies and tactics.

11. Participates appropriately in professional societies and activities related to the industry and markets.

12. Prepares presentations to explain the Company’s current and future strategies.
