CEO Industrial Components 

Overview: Our client, a 400M Private Equity Owned, Midwestern Component Manufacturing Company, is seeking a seasoned operating executive to fill the President role.

Position Brief

Looking for individual with dynamic leadership skills, high energy, and direct P&L experience – full responsibility for all aspects of the company: including but not limited to: strategic planning, sales and marketing, manufacturing operations, product design, development and production, setting and implementing short term and long term financial objectives, and effective utilization of all resources including human plant and facilities.

Undergraduate degree required; Engineering, Manufacturing or Operations emphasis is desired.

Masters in Engineering, MBA or other Graduate Degree or highly Specialized Training would be viewed favorably.

Peference will be given for experience in implementing and operation of Demand Flow Technology (DFT), Six Sigma quality, ISO, Just in Time, World Class Safety and Quality environments;

Looking for an individual with a 15-20 year track record who has evidence of increasing levels of leadership and managerial responsibilities.,

Demonstrated experience in a job shop, metal manufacturing environment necessary.

Prior high level sales and marketing experience/expertise, dealing with Fortune 500 Quality customer base, from a technically grounded product suite would be viewed favorably – track record of building customer relationships and successfully leading sales and marketing activities.

Salary and Benefit Package will be commensurate with industry benchmarking.

VP Sales - Building & Home Products 

Our client a major U.S. based exterior building products manufacturer is seeking a Vice President of Sales.

Brief Summary

Reporting to the SVP Sales, the position has responsibility for a leading brand's sales growth and profitability, and management of their national sales force.

Qualifications

Candidates must have a solid track record leading a national sales force or large regional team in Building Materials, DIY, Home Improvement Products or a related sector, including; forecasting, budgets, top-tier customer interface, sales team leadership, strategy and execution of corporate objectives, product mix, margins, and sales administration through multiple channels of distribution. Channels include major big box, one and two step wholesale distribution, and a dealer/large builder direct model.

President DIY/ Home Products

Brief Summary

Our client, a major U.S. based 300M+ DIY and home products leader, seeks a President. The position reports to the corporate CEO and has full charge of a stand alone wholly owned subsidiary.

Primary Responsibilities

Develop a strategic plan to advance the company's mission and objectives and to promote revenue, profitability, and growth as an organization.

Lead and develop the senior leadership team.

Advance a positive and creative culture that attracts employees and customers.

Cultivate top-tier relationships with the company's major clients and suppliers.

Oversee company operations to insure production efficiency, quality, service, and cost-effective management of resources.

Plan, develop, and implement marketing and product development strategies for generating resources and/or revenues for the company.

Approve company operational procedures, policies, and standards.

Review activity reports and financial statements to determine progress and status in attaining objectives and revise objectives and plans in accordance with current conditions. Evaluate performance of executives for compliance with established policies and objectives of the company and contributions in attaining objectives.

Oversee operations to include evaluating operating and financial performance.

Qualifications

We seek a proven leader from DIY, home products, garden, home decor, or related space with the ability to position the company for growth. Ideal candidates will have demonstrated record of managing managers, and full P&L for a stand alone company, or division head of a larger consumer goods leader.

This would include a working knowledge of all reporting disciplines and a strong marketing background. Additional requirements include the ability to present to the board, CEO, and at times industry and media news outlets.
